This work is a reproduction of the Symposion Festive Stele from Thassos, Greece (c. 470–460 BCE). The
original stele provides significant insight into the "symposion," a social event in ancient Greek
society where men gathered to drink wine, engage in conversation, and discuss philosophical and
artistic topics, often accompanied by music and games.
The reproduction faithfully preserves the original forms and scene composition, without contemporary
reinterpretation or formal alteration. The dimensions were chosen to allow viewers to observe the
details comfortably within a museum setting.
