Captive Faces is a ceramic series that explores the individual's condition in relation to invisible
boundaries, pressure, and the need for belonging. The faces are both shielded and restrained by layers
of netting and thread that wrap around the surface. The inherent fragility of ceramic becomes a
metaphor for this state of captivity, rendering it both physically tangible and emotionally resonant.
